ShareMix and Mingle during the Month of June
Many people around Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka have talents in these areas but much of the public doesn’t know they exist. Too many times when a possible client is looking for someone to read their cards or do a Reiki session they don’t have a clue where to find a provider.
Over the past few years more and more people are surfacing that share these gifts but they are finding it difficult to increase their customer base. “The Paranormal Sense” is a bi-monthly forum that is designed to bring these people together. Whether you have a gift to share or you are searching for a specific type of provider this is the place to make an appearance.
Each session of “The Paranormal Sense” will have guest speakers that will take the stage to tell their story and share their products or services with the audience. Audience members are given the opportunity to ask questions or share their own personal stories if they have been a client or customer of the guest speakers.
At the end of the evening guest speakers and the audience come together for some chat and mingling. They can exchange information, business cards and websites, or just show their appreciation for one another.
The Paranormal Sense started in April 2011 in Topeka, KS and Ghost Tours of Kansas, LLC, host it. This event was so successful that it has expanded and will now include a forum in Leavenworth.
The Topeka event takes place at The Break Room in lovely downtown. This wonderful little eatery carries its own haunted stories and history as well as some delicious food. The Leavenworth event will be held at the Santa Fe Depot Diner, which is also known to have some paranormal experiences tied to its history and some wonderful food.
Another exciting event that is coming to the area in June is the Lawrence Metaphysical Fair at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, KS hosted by Carol Brown founder of Body Therapeutics. This fair like most psychic and spirit fairs will bring healers, readers, and vendors together for two days to offer goods, services, and artistic talents to the area.
This Fair is another great opportunity to get to know those in the area that offer products and services as well as find out more information about them and what they do. The goal with this fair was to bring awareness to the community that there are many providers in the area. Do not be afraid to ask questions, share your thoughts or information, or make new friends.
Whether you are searching for a unique way to spend an afternoon with the family or for a specific service such as Reiki or Massage, this fair will have it. Past fairs of this type have included art, jewelry, stones, candles, and healing sessions of various types, herbs, herbal teas, books, and more.
