Heartland Spiritual Alliance

Dedicated to promoting the appreciation and acceptance of a variety of alternative religions and philosophies.

If you don’t already know this, Heartland Spiritual Alliance (HSA) sponsors Heartland Pagan Festival.  You may want to know, what is HSA?  HSA is a Kansas City based organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation and acceptance of a variety of alternative religions and philosophies.  HSA is a 501(c)(3) educational and not-for-profit organization.

There are several committees within HSA that you can get involved in.  Several of the committees do most of their work around festival time but there are others that are active throughout the year.  HSA has a newsletter, Heartland Spirit, that is published around each sabbat that is always looking for people to contribute articles, poetry, stories or anything that you might be interested in sharing with others.

HSA also sponsors Spirit Circle Sacred Experience which is an event that is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Aquarius Book Store in Kansas City, Missouri.  There are guest speakers that come in to talk on different subjects such as meditation, workshops on various pagan interests, upcoming events or lead spiritual events and/or rituals.

Yearly, HSA sponsors such activities as Pagan Pride Day and has fundraisers such as the Witches Ball where money is donated to a local non-profit organization.

HSA meets the second Sunday of each month from 2-5 p.m.  All meetings are open to the public.  Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.  Annual membership requirements include a $20 fee and 20 hours of HSA volunteer time usually spent at festival.
